Aldar’s profits leap to AED 1.47bn in H1-22 results

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Aldar Properties has posted net profits attributable to the shareholders worth AED 1.47 billion in the first half (H1) of 2022, compared to AED 1.06 billion in H1-21.

Revenues amounted to AED 5.35 billion in the first six months (6M) of 2022, a 26% year-on-year (YoY) surge from AED 4.23 billion, according to the financial results on Thursday.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) rose to AED 0.187 in H1-22 from AED 0.135 in H1-21.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the property developer registered AED 803.98 million in net profit attributable to the shareholders, higher than AED 520.07 million in the year-ago period.

The sales jumped by 22% YoY to AED 2.66 billion in Q2-22 from AED 2.19 billion. Meanwhile, the basic and diluted EPS stood at AED 0.102 in Q2-22, versus AED 0.066 in the same period a year earlier.

alal Al Dhiyebi, CEOT of Aldar Properties, noted: “Over the first half (H1) of the year, we deployed and committed over AED 11 billion of capital adding considerable scale and diversification to our portfolio as we expanded into new markets and sectors, and enhanced earnings growth across our platform.”

In January-March 2022, the UAE-based company achieved net profits attributable to the shareholders of AED 667.91 million, compared to AED 542.74 million during Q1-21.
