Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company turned to net losses after Zakat and tax worth SAR 26.66 million in fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, against net profits of SAR 207.83 million in FY20/21.
In the 12-month period that ended on 30 September 2022, the revenues declined by 9.52% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.46 billion from SAR 1.61 billion, according to the annual financial results.
Additionally, the loss per share stood at SAR 0.52 per share in FY21/22, versus earnings per share worth SAR 4.09 during the same period a year earlier.
During the October 2021-June 2022 period, Al Yamamah Steel recorded net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 69.72 million, lower by 58.43% YoY than SAR 167.75 million.
