Mubasher: Al Ahlia Insurance - Bahrain (AHLIA) denied reports citing any further steps regarding the Solidarity Group's acquisition of the insurance firm, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
"We neither made any announcement to the Bahraini Alwasat News nor receive a request to provide more clarification", Al Ahlia said.
Earlier, Alwasat News reported that a top official at Al Ahlia gave the green light to entering into negotiations over the stock valuation.
The insurance firm operates with BHD 6.18 million, divided into 61.85 million shares at BHD 0.1 each.
