Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Mineral Oils (AMOC) reported an increase in its net profits for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016/17, said the company in a bourse statement on Sunday.
Net profits surged 443% year-on-year to EGP 460.9 million from EGP 81 million, the unaudited results revealed.
Over the first six months, net profits thus reached EGP 545.7 million, higher 248% year-on-year from EGP 156.9 million.
Sales also rose 47% to EGP 3.2 billion over the six-month period.
