Mubasher: Kuwait-based National Cleaning reported a 16.8% year-on-year jump in profits for the fourth quarter of 2018.
The company’s profits amounted to KWD 452,000 ($1.49 million) in Q4-18, up from KWD 387,000 ($1.28 million) during Q4-17, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait.
From January to December 2018, National Cleaning’s profit levelled up 11.5% to KWD 1.46 million, compared to KWD 1.31 million in 2017.
The firm attributed the 2018 profit rise to completing some projects and extending contracts.
On Tuesday, National Cleaning’s board of directors recommended distributing a cash dividend of 5 fils a share, representing 5% of the share’s par value, for the previous year.
