Cairo - Mubasher: Barclays Bank agreed to sell its Egyptian unit to Morocco's Attijariwafa Bank, a source told Mubasher.
The source didn’t reveal the financial details of the transaction, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
In March, Barclays said it will sell its Africa business and seek higher shareholder returns.
Barclays has 56 branches and serves around 127,000 customers in Egypt, according to the bank's website.
