Monsha’at, JEDCO to foster SMEs in Saudi Arabia, Jordan

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) inked a cooperation agreement with Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) to foster small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and enhance the entrepreneurship ecosystem in both countries.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Private Sector Forum 2024 which was hosted by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) in Riyadh.

Under this agreement, both entities will join efforts to develop the organizational infrastructure of the SMEs and provide training programs on SMEs and entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The agreement also targets enhancing cooperation between SMEs in both countries and scaling their competitiveness.

The second edition of the Private Sector Forum served as a platform for collaboration, unveiling new opportunities, and empowering the private sector to spearhead economic growth and achieve national goals.
