Mubasher: Lafarge Cement – Jordan on Wednesday reported its unaudited financial results for the third quarter of 2016.
The company posted a loss of JOD 2.75 million ($3.9 million) in Q3-16 against profit of JOD 8,950 ($12,600) in the same period in 2015, according to a filing to the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE).
The cement firm also posted a loss of JOD 4.53 million in the first nine months of 2016 against a profit of JOD 5.5 million in the year-ago period.
Nine-month sales fell 7% year-on-year to JOD 69.5 million from JOD 74.7 million, the company added.
