Cairo - Mubasher: GlaxoSmithKline (GSK Egypt) reported a surge in its standalone net profits to EGP 870.42 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to EGP 22.21 million in the year-ago period.
The company generated revenues of EGP 370.18 million in the January-March period of 2022, up from EGP 140.04 million in the same period of 2021, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company's standalone net profits increased to EGP 166 million from EGP 44 million in 2020.
