Cairo – Mubasher: Naguib Sawiris, the Egyptian businessman and chairman of Orascom Investment Holding, will reinvest in Sudan soon.
“I had investments in Sudan before. I love Sudan and I will reinvest in Sudan soon,” the Egyptian billionaire stressed said on Twitter.
Sawiris previously stated that he was planning to exit from the telecom sector after a limited number of companies have monopolised the sector locally and globally.
In September, Orascom Investment announced it sold its stake in Middle East and North Africa Submarine Cable (MENA Cable) for $90 million.
