Mubasher: Bayan Investment has turned to losses during fiscal year 2018 against profits registered in FY17, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.
Losses deepened to around KWD 563,300 ($1.86 million) in FY18 versus profits valued at nearly KWD 33,400 ($110,300) in FY17.
Operating revenues declined by 57% to approximately KWD 459,200 from in FY18 KWD 1.07 million in FY17.
During the fourth quarter of 2018, Bayan Investment incurred losses of about KWD 117,500 from about KWD 36,390 in the same quarter in 2017, a year-on-year increase of 223%.
At the stock level, Bayan Investment added 0.21% to close Wednesday at 47.8 fils.
