Kuwait – Mubasher: Bayan Investment trimmed its losses for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016 by 51% to KWD 116,562 ($383,180), compared to KWD 236,360 ($776,000) for Q3-15.
Net losses for the first nine months of 2016 decreased 132% to KWD 273,424 from KWD 117,887 for the same period last year, according to a bourse statement released on Wednesday.
The company earlier reported a net loss of KWD 156,860 for the first half of 2016, against a net profit of KWD 118,470 for H1-15.
The stock rose at today’s open by 1.6% to 32.5 fils as 1.44 million shares were exchanged at KWD 46,480 through 11 transactions.
