Arab Drug eyes EGP 97m profit in FY20/21

Cairo – Mubasher: The board of directors of Arab Drug Company approved the planned budget for fiscal year 2020/2021.

The company aims to achieve net profits of EGP 96.87 million in the coming fiscal year from a target EGP 57.5 million in FY19/20, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.

In addition, the EGX-listed firm plans to generate EGP 650.2 million in revenue in FY20/21 from an estimated EGP 498.2 million in FY18/19.

It is noteworthy that during the first seven months of FY18/19, the company’s profit before tax surged to EGP 70.53 million, compared to EGP 33.1 million in the year-ago period.
