Al-Qasabi: Kingdom builds up logistics zone in Arar to serve Saudi, Iraqi exporters

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia plans to establish a logistics zone in Arar to offer plenty of investment opportunities and serve Saudi and Iraqi exporters, Minister of Commerce, Majid Al-Qasabi, stated during the Northern Borders Investment Forum 2023 held in Arar.

Al-Qasabi said that the Kingdom will support Saudi and Iraqi investors by granting lands and providing necessary financing with facilities over 20 years.

The minister added that the Saudi private sector enjoys large investment opportunities in various fields, including mining, infrastructure, logistics services, and others.

He added that the Kingdom will showcase these opportunities as well as the challenges and achievements accomplished in each sector during the upcoming forums.

On the other side, Al-Qasabi affirmed that the Kingdom is among the top 10 growing economies in e-commerce as its revenues are forecasted to hit SAR 260 billion by 2025.

The Northern Borders Investment Forum 2023 showcased more than 157 investment opportunities in the Northern Borders Region across various fields, such as transport, logistics services, mining, education, healthcare, real estate development, tourism, and research.
