Al Jouf Cement’s CEO resigns; Al Nuhair succeeds

Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Jouf Cement Company has announced the resignation of Jamal bin Salem Al Amer from his position as the company’s CEO starting from 21 August 2022.

Abdul Karim bin Muhammad Al Nuhair will replace Al Amer, who resigned from his post due to personal reasons. The company noted that the new official holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, according to a recent bourse filing.

Last July, the cement manufacturer firm said its Chairman, Mohammed bin Saeed Attia, resigned from his position.

During the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, Al Jouf Cement posted a 73.55% year-on-year (YoY) drop in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 5.55 million, compared to SAR 20.98 million.

Furthermore, the Saudi listed firm registered accumulated losses of SAR 337.56 million in Q1-22, representing 23.61% of the SAR 1.43 billion capital.
