Mubasher: The main index of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) ended Sunday’s trading session in the red zone, losing 0.24% or 5.08 points, and closing at the level of 2,112.09 points.
The main index was affected by the decline of blue chip stocks, as Arab Bank, Jopetrol, and Bank of Jordan lost 0.98%, 1.14%, and 0.75% respectively.
The services sector decreased 0.4% on the back of Jopetrol, while the financial sector was dragged down by six stocks led by Al Amal which led the session’s decliners and lost 1.47%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector edged up 0.1%, supported by three stocks, mainly Dar Al Dawa which led today’s gainers and added 2.75%.
Total traded volume increased to 19.4 million shares from 7.6 million shares in the previous session, turnover also rose to JOD 30.4 million, compared to JOD 19.2 million on Thursday.
