Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday’s session falling by 0.12% or 12.96 points to the level of 10,425.49 points.
Trading volume reached 1.05 million exchanged by 10:00am Doha time through 402 transactions, making a turnover of QAR 24.4 million.
Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) declined 0.56%, QNB shrank 0.37%, Masraf Al Rayan fell 0.29% and Mazaya Qatar retreated 0.67%.
The banking sector was the worst performer after dropping by 0.38%, pressured by a 1.13% decrease in Al Khalij Commercial Bank.
The transportation sector slid 0.29% as Milaha shrank 1.53%, the real estate sector dropped 0.02%.
On the other hand, the telecom and insurance sector grew by 0.84% and 0.25% respectively.
Qatar Cement led the green list with a growth of 1.2%.
