Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Sunday’s trading session with a grouped rise by 9:30am Kuwait time.
The price index inched up 0.09% or 4.25 points to reach 5,326.71 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.29% and 0.38% respectively.
KSE’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.2 million after 23.4 million shares were traded through 483 transactions.
The banks sector topped four gainers with 0.54%, on the back of Warba which rose 5.5%.
The real estate sector grew 0.46% in line with the 5.3% increase of Sanam which was the top winner.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led four decliners with 0.48%, dragged by Hits Telecom which retreated 1.45%.
The financial services sector levelled down 0.16%, dragged by Commercial Facilities which lost 4.7% to head the losers.
Mayadeen was the most active stock on which 5.6 million shares were exchanged, while Zain recorded the highest turnover that stood at about KWD 641,700.
