Blue chips lead ADX to open in green

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw gains in Sunday’s early trades, spurred by the positive performance of some blue chips led by Aldar Properties.

The main index rose 0.25% or 12.81 points to reach 4,307.27 points by 10:35am UAE time.

The real estate sector topped gainers with a 1.21% rise as Eshraq Properties and Aldar went up 2.5% and 1.13% respectively.

The telecom sector also rose 0.51% after Etisalat grew 0.51%. The banks sector also increased 0.25% as First Gulf Bank (FGB) gained 0.45%.

The market saw trading of 18.27 million shares through 177 transactions, with a turnover of 177 transactions.
