Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 50 billion through two equal issues on Thursday, 9 May 2024.
The first offering will mature in 182 days on 12 November this year, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second auction carries a tenor of 364 days until 13 May 2025.
Last week, the financial authority offered T-bills and zero-coupon treasury bonds (T-bonds) at an aggregated value of EGP 60 billion over three tranches.
