Mubasher: Independent Petroleum Group (IPG) achieved an increase of 26.7% in profits during the first quarter of fiscal year 2018 compared to the same period in the previous year.
Earnings grew to KWD 2.18 million ($7.28 million) in Q1-18 from KWD 1.72 million ($5.74 million) in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.
IPG’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at 12.03 fils in Q1-18 when compared to 11.58 fils in Q1-17.
It is worth noting that the Boursa Kuwait-listed company posted a growth of 24.4% in profits to KWD 6.23 million during fiscal year 2017 compared to KWD 5.01 million in the prior year.
