ADX, Jordan consider dual-listing opportunities

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) revealed that it has held meetings with the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) and Jordan Securities Commission (JSC), in addition to representatives of the companies listed on the ASE.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the second Arab Capital Markets Conference, which took place during the period between 27 – 28 March in Amman, Jordan.

During the meeting, the ADX delegation highlighted and identified the opportunities offered through dual-listing on the ADX.

Khalifa Salem Al Mansouri, acting chief executive of the ADX, pointed out that the bourse eyes boosting its bilateral relations and business ties with regional and international stakeholders

 “Dual listing on ADX allows companies to access one of the world's largest financial conglomerates, as well as capital markets in the GCC and MENA region, it also enables them to benefit from a broad base of investors within a secure and stable economic and investment environment,” Al Mansouri added.

He noted that the move will enable investors to access more liquidity and enjoy the ease and efficiency of operations, benefiting both companies and their shareholders.
